Janelle Casey National Manager
Janelle Casey manages Austrade's relationship with the Australian health, biotechnology and wellbeing industries. In this role, she regularly liaises with exporters, industry bodies and other government departments, and develops industry export strategies and assistance packages.
Janelle joined Austrade in 1992 and was Trade Commissioner in both Hong Kong and Singapore from 1996 to 2004. Janelle has worked across a range of industry sector and brings in-depth knowledge on exporter issues and market access to her current role.
Janelle holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from the Edith Cowan University, Perth.

Milena Bliss Export Adviser - Medical Devices and Technologies
Milena Bliss is responsible for assisting Australian exporters of medical devices and technologies. In this role, she works with individual exporters on their market entry strategies and regulatory requirements as well as facilitates their participation in major international events such as Medica in Germany.
Milena joined Austrade's operations in Auckland in 2003 as a Business Development Manager for the Health and ICT sectors. Previously she was a procurement specialist with the largest District Health Board in New Zealand.
Milena has a Bachelor degree in International Economic Relations and Foreign Trade.

Leonie Smith Export Adviser - Wellbeing
Leonie Smith covers the Australian wellbeing sector which is one of the fastest growing sectors of Australian industry. Leonie works with exporters of complementary health products and wellbeing solutions and services, and helps them find new business opportunities overseas. Leonie also facilitates the industry's participation in major international events such as the Natural Health Fair in Hong Kong.
Leonie has worked in various industry and client roles with Austrade over the past decade and was project manager for a number of high-profile Australian pavilions at major international tradeshows around the world. Her broad knowledge serves her well in her current role assisting Australian wellbeing companies with their export endeavours.
Leonie has a Bachelor of Business, Certificate of International Trade, Certificate of Applied Science (Food Technology) and an extensive private sector marketing background.

Stan Roche Export Adviser - Biotechnology and Scientific Instruments
Stan Roche is mainly responsible for assisting the Australian biotechnology industry with their internationalisation strategies. With an in-depth knowledge of the issues faced by entrepreneurs in commercialising their technologies, Stan provides sound export counsel to a broad range of biotech and high tech companies from Melbourne.
Stan has previous experience in investment banking, customs and freight forwarding, cable and interactive television (Hong Kong), industrial relations, and inward investment (with UK Trade and Investment).
His qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Newcastle and a Diploma of Export Management with the Australian Institute of Export.

Rika Sasaki Export Adviser - Biotechnology and Health Services
Rika Sasaki is currently responsible for facilitating Australia's presence at Bio 2007 being held in Boston, USA, and also works with health service providers, in particular those in the aged care sector. With around 15 years experience working with health and medical exporters, Rika brings a wealth of knowledge to the market entry success and international business expansion of her clients.
Rika joined Austrade in Tokyo in 1992 as a Business Development Manager and continued there until moving permanently to Australia in 2006. In Japan, she undertook market feasibility studies, identied Japanese potential buyers/partners for exporters, and helped implement market entry strategies for exporters of health, biotechnology and ICT solutions.
Rika has a Master of Business Administration degree from Bond University, QLD and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Waseda University, Tokyo.
