DAELIBS

Daelibs

Overview

In 1988 the now Managing Director of DKTOB Pty Ltd, Ian Bruce, recognised problems associated with using paper records in the documenting of time and attendance by staff in delivering community based care services. Not because the staff needed to checked up on, but for the amount of time it took gather and process all the relevant paper work, and the accuracy and division of times recorded for various types of billable tasks performed by staff. The concept of DAELIBS (Data Analysis Electronically Logged Information Based System) was conceived as a way to remove paper records and increase the efficiency of the administration process associated with document time records in the delivery of care services

  • Tracking time and attendance
  • Recording client contact times
  • Verifying Routine maintenance services
  • Monitoring security patrols
  • Guaranteeing cleaning services
  • Measuring vehicle / machinery use and motor vehicle travel log
  • Critical equipment service - audit reviews
  • Needing to verify temperature controls

Technology/Products and Services Description

Time and attendance business process management hardware and software technology that facilitates the recording and audit reporting of services delivered and consumed in government funded care at home in the community services programs.

Daelibs SeeknFind consists of an electronic service attendance data logger that uses the mobile phone network to communicate time and attendance information to a central SeeknFind data server.  Service attendance information stored in the SeeknFind Web based data server is available over a secure Internet connection to the service provider agencies for payroll and invoicing.  In addition, the same data can be used by the government agencies funding the community service providers to monitor service attendance quality assurance for individual service recipients and to audit the micro and macro disbursement of funding to community health care and personal support services.

Competitive Advantages

The Daelibs SeeknFind has evolved through 14 years of research and custom designed development for use in the community care services industry.  The design has incorporated within it forward planning that should protect users of the system from equipment redundancy that can be associated with the adaptation of popular retail products that become commercially obsolete.

The Daelibs service attendance data loggers have been designed with the capacity to be adapted to read a range of electronic identification devices, including Phillips Mifare Smart Cards, Dallas iButtons, and biometrics in the form of fingerprints.  This is a unique feature in the 5th generation of Daelibs data Loggers.

Being industry customised equipped with an internal database the Daelibs data loggers can facilitate the design of customised registers to manage the delivery of meals, equipment and a range of consumables associated with delivering care at home in the community services.

From an employee management perspective the Daelibs loggers will provide start and end work times that can be used for timesheet submission and payroll processing. Where travel allowances are being paid the data loggers will also record travel times and log odometer readings to report travel distances.  This same information provides critical global unit cost data resources for government funding organisations that are responsible for policy and planning development.

The SeeknFind data base has the capacity to be the hub around which all funded care and support services with the associated quality assurance management responsibilities and funds disbursement accounting returns auditing is managed.
