HATRIX is an Australian software company specialising in electronic Medication Management or eMM. Founded in 2001, HATRIX is now the number supplier of inpatient Medication Management systems in Australia and New Zealand.
Our flagship product MedChart is designed to replace the paper medication chart in Acute Hospitals and Aged Care facilities. Utilising web based technology MedChart links prescribing, pharmacy review and drug administration with sophisticated decision support.
MedChart reduces medication errors, enhances communication and streamlines pharmacy supply chain. The open architecture design allows MedChart and HATRIX’s other products to integrate seamlessly into existing systems.
HATRIX is set to launch into the UK, Middle East, India and Hong Kong markets with its specialist suit of products dedicated to electronic Medication Management (eMM). Because MedChart is a “best of breed solution” we are ideally looking for partnership or reseller arrangements to help meet our aggressive growth strategy.

- MedChart is the flag ship product, which has designed to replace the paper medication chart. MedChart captures Prescribing, Pharmacy review and Medication administration, which is all underpinned by sophisticated decision support. Using web based technology; MedChart will integrate into existing infrastructure, creating a ‘real-time’ clinical application delivered at the bedside or from a remote location.
- Reference View is a powerful search engine, which allows users immediate access to all clinical reference material. Ref. Viewer may be installed as a ‘stand alone’ product or fully integrated into MedChart.
- Report Generator allows timely reports for accreditation, staff key performance areas or clinical audits for quality and safety. The Report Generator may filter medication type, time of administration and personnel practices
