Hamilton Pharmaceutical researches, develops and markets pharmaceutical products including general sunscreens and specialised sun-care products for the lips, a dry skin and itchy skin range, ear, nose and throat products, and other over-the-counter pharmaceuticals.
The company utilises the excellent medical research facilities available in Adelaide for basic research and clinical trials, manufactures product in its Adelaide facilities and markets throughout Australia, utilising Hamilton’s own national sales force which calls on medical specialists, general practitioners and pharmacies. A network of distributors in overseas countries handle Hamilton’s rapidly growing export sales.
The company remains privately owned with the family of the founder (Milton Blake) holding the majority of its shares.
Established in 1932, Hamilton combines the solid foundation of a business established for over 70 years with modern technology to ensure it consistently provides products of the highest quality and efficacy.
In addition to exporting its products to around 45 overseas countries including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia, UAE, Greece, Israel, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, South Africa and the UK, Hamilton also act as the Australian and New Zealand distributor for the NeoStrata range of products.
