Mediplas is a wholly owned Australian medical plastics manufacturing company specialising in the design and manufacture of high quality adult and neonatal plastic respiratory components and equipment. Mediplas was formed in 2005 to take advantage of advances in the development of locally produced medical grade plastics and the market trend towards disposable medical products.
Mediplas produces one of Australia’s largest range of plastic respiratory products for the hospital and medical market. The products are marketed overseas through a network of distributors. Mediplas has continued to invest in innovation and new product development through its own Research and Development team.
Mediplas quality management system is fully certified to ISO 13485, GMP, CE Mark.
In addition to marketing its own products worldwide through distributors, Mediplas also acts as the Australian and New Zealand distributor for some selected overseas companies (agency lines).
A number of strategic alliances exist to develop new products and promote several current products on an OEM basis.
Further to this, new pro-active, long established and well connected companies with experience in the distribution of respiratory component products are always being sought to ensure sales coverage of Mediplas’ core range of products in all regions of the world.
Such credentialed companies in Singapore/South East Asia would be welcomed by Mediplas for distribution discussions.
The core range of Mediplas’ products include re-usable, and disposable plastic respiratory components, re-useable and disposable breathing circuits, CPAP components and kits, Oxygen & O² Nasal Cannulas, Suction Tubing, neonatal, Paediatric, infant and adult IV arm boards, medical suction filter components and the “Duoscope™” the dual blade laryngoscope. The products listed are available for direct sale within Australia and internationally through distributors, including OEM (bulk components or private label for large quantities). Other products are in research and development.
